Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, the manufacturer of Ampere electric scooters, has announced its venture into the international market. The Indian EV producer revealed the launch of its inaugural electric two-wheeler showroom in Nepal, in collaboration with the Kedia Organisation.
Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) highlighted that the new showroom in Nepal is a strategic move in the brand’s expansion plan, signifying a noteworthy milestone in its EV journey. The company also emphasized that Kedia Organisation will exclusively handle the authorized distribution, sales, marketing, distribution, and after-sales support for Ampere’s electric two-wheelers in Nepal.
The company inaugurated its flagship showroom in Teku, Kathmandu, and has outlined plans to establish several outlets and dealerships nationwide in the near future. Ampere’s entry into the Nepal market follows a trend of significant growth in the electric two-wheeler industry within the country. Over recent months, other Indian electric two-wheeler brands such as Ather Energy and Ola Electric have introduced their products in Nepal. In the Nepalese market, Ampere will offer the Primus and Magnus electric scooters.
