This remarkable feat is attributed to the chassis’s innovative structural battery pack, which seamlessly integrates batteries, electric motors, and other critical components into a single, space-saving unit.
Dubbed the CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis (CIIC), this revolutionary platform promises to revolutionize the automotive industry by lowering production costs, reducing vehicle weight, enhancing energy efficiency, and maximizing interior space. The CIIC is primed to underpin a new electric vehicle from Hozon Auto’s Neta brand, slated for launch in China’s third quarter of 2024.
