Shah Rukh Khan vs. Prabhas: A Clash of Titans at the Box Office!

When Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas decided to release their movies, Dunki and Salaar, simultaneously, it sparked an intense battle between these two Bollywood giants. The competition between their films became a neck-and-neck race, with each superstar taking turns ruling the box office on different days.

Currently, SRK seems to have a slight edge in the overseas market, with his social drama Dunki surpassing Prashanth Neel’s action-packed Salaar in international box office numbers.

Initially, Prabhas’ film was set for an earlier release, but rumors suggested that reshoots were undertaken by Prashanth Neel, causing a delay and an increase in the film’s budget. Despite this, both movies eventually clashed at the box office due to scheduling constraints, coincidentally choosing different days for their openings.

Salaar Box Office: Salaar has amassed over 250 crores in India, setting a phenomenal record with a staggering 92 crore opening day collection, making it the highest opener of 2023. The Hindi version stands at 65 crores, eyeing the coveted 100 crore milestone in its first week.

Dunki Box Office: Dunki has raked in over 250 crores worldwide, with its Indian box office earnings currently standing at 128 crores. It’s maintaining a steady pace, and its performance during the upcoming New Year holiday weekend remains highly anticipated.

Dunki vs. Salaar Box Office (Overseas): In the overseas market, Prabhas dominates North America, while Shah Rukh Khan has crossed the $3 Million mark for the 13th time, showcasing his stronghold in the territory. While both stars are nearly even in the Middle East, SRK is significantly ahead in Australia and Germany.

The clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas at the box office has ignited excitement among fans, making it a compelling showdown between two cinematic powerhouses.
