Tata Motors has provided a sneak peek into the upcoming Harrier facelift, set to launch soon. Unofficial bookings began last week at select dealerships, with official bookings slated to commence on October 6, 2023. This revamped Harrier promises an array of new features both inside and out.
The teaser image reveals the SUV’s bold silhouette, featuring a muscular bonnet line. Noteworthy are the sequential LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) designed in a connecting light bar style. A closer inspection showcases the split LED headlamp setup, revised front bumper, and grille.
Inside, the facelifted Harrier will boast a sizable touchscreen infotainment system, likely around 12.3 inches, alongside a redesigned center console. Drivers will grip a two-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Tata logo, complemented by an all-digital instrument cluster featuring navigation support. The SUV will also introduce touch-based HVAC controls. Additional luxuries include a wireless charger, automatic climate control, cruise control, 360-degree surround camera, new gear lever, air purifier, ambient lighting, blind spot monitor system, panoramic sunroof, and an Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
Under the hood, the updated Harrier will maintain its performance with a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, available with both a six-speed manual and an automatic torque converter unit. Additionally, there’s speculation about a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine being introduced to the Harrier lineup.
Stay tuned for further updates, including the official pricing announcement in the coming weeks, as Tata Motors continues to redefine the driving experience with the enhanced Harrier facelift.
