2. Tata Harrier EV

The concept of Harrier EV was displayed at the Auto Expo this year. This electric SUV will be based on Land Rover-derived Omega architecture and Tata’s own Gen 2 EV architecture. Despite being based on the famous ICE platform, the Harrier EV has undergone significant re-engineering to optimize maximum performance.
The Harrier EV is powered by a powerful electric motor and a large battery pack. If reports are to be believed, it can cover a distance of more than 500 km on a single charge.

3. Tata Sierra EV
Tata Sierra EV is a concept electric SUV that was unveiled by Tata Motors at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is expected to be launched in India in late 2025. Sierra EV is a 5-seater SUV which is introduced as a premium offering from Tata Motors. It is based on Tata’s gen 2 architecture platform and is expected to be priced starting at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Sierra EV is powered by Tata’s Ziptron electric powertrain, which is also used in the Nexon EV and Tigor EV. The Ziptron powertrain is expected to offer a driving range of around 400 km on a single charge. The Sierra EV is also expected to come with a number of features, including connected LED headlamps and tail lamps, a panoramic sunroof and a touchscreen infotainment system.
The Sierra EV is designed to attract a more premium segment of buyers and is likely to compete with SUVs like the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.
4. Tata Altroz EV
Completing the impressive lineup, the Altroz EV is also arriving in 2025. Building on the success of the Altroz hatchback, this electric variant will enter the compact car segment with cutting-edge EV technology. Altroz EV underlines Tata Motors’ dedication to offering a diverse range of electric vehicles for every need and preference.
The Altroz EV will use Tata’s Ziptron technology, which powers other EVs like the Nexon EV and Tigor EV. It can hit the market with a powerful electric motor with a power of about 129PS and a battery pack that gives a range of 300-350 km on a single charge.
We can expect the Altroz EV to be equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, automatic climate control and a sunroof. It is expected that its price will start around Rs 12 lakh.
