Adding to the historic milestones, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua secured the coveted title of Miss Universe 2023, marking a monumental victory for her country in the international beauty pageant scene.
The glittering event took place at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador, on a vibrant Saturday night.
Among the standout contestants, Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild claimed the first runner-up position, while Miss Australia Moraya Wilson was honored as the second runner-up. The official Instagram page of Miss Universe joyously announced, “MISS UNIVERSE 2023 is @sheynnispalacios_of!”
Palacios received her crown from the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel from the USA. She outshined participants from 83 other countries, including the commendable performance of Miss India Shweta Sharda, who earned her place among the top 20 contestants.
