Honda has finally pulled back the curtains on the much-anticipated Honda CB1000 Hornet at the EICMA 2023 event. This motorcycle is anticipated to take over the street-style naked motorcycle CB1000R, known for its 998cc liquid-cooled engine in the Indian market.
To bring a breath of fresh air to the market, Honda is expected to introduce the all-new CB1000 in 2024. However, exact launch details are yet to be confirmed by the company.
Design of the Honda CB1000 Hornet
Starting with its design, the CB1000 Hornet showcases an aggressive naked style, promising an exhilarating experience for its target audience.
At EICMA 2023, the bike was seen boasting an assertive front look, equipped with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) along with dual LED projector headlights. This design exudes modernity and stands out from the crowd. The bike also features the iconic Hornet-style fuel tank and a dual-tone exhaust pipe.
Features of the Honda CB1000 Hornet
The motorcycle offers fully adjustable 41mm USD forks in the front and a Pro-link mono-shock at the rear. In terms of tech, the CB1000 comes with a Bluetooth-enabled 5.0-inch full-color TFT screen. This display allows riders to keep an eye on crucial information such as gear position, RPM, fuel capacity, speed, mileage, time, and more.
Additionally, riders can access multiple riding modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, and other functionalities. For safety, the bike is equipped with a 310mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake, ensuring smooth and reliable stopping power.
Power of the Honda CB1000 Hornet
The high-performance CB1000 Hornet runs on a 999cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces an impressive maximum power of 148bhp and a peak torque of 100Nm.
