Tata Motors has unveiled the much-anticipated Tata Nexon facelift, and it’s ready to take the SUV market by storm. The revamped Nexon offers a range of exciting features and enhancements that are set to redefine your driving experience.

Nexon Facelift: Revamped Exterior Design and Styling

In this Nexon facelift, Tata Motors has truly outdone themselves. The front fascia now boasts a split LED headlamp function, accompanied by sequential turn indicators elegantly positioned higher on both sides of the bonnet. The side profile receives a refreshing upgrade with brand-new alloy wheels and a captivating exterior hue. What’s more, the ground clearance of the Nexon has been increased to an impressive 208mm.

Turning our attention to the rear, the Y-pattern LED tail lamps are now connected by an illuminated strip that incorporates a stop lamp seamlessly. The bumper has been redesigned, and the vertically stacked reflectors and reverse lamps now have a more prominent housing. Additionally, the rear wiper has been cleverly concealed under the protruding rear spoiler.

Nexon Facelift: A Look at Variants and Features

Step inside the Nexon, and you’ll be greeted by a completely redesigned cabin. The dashboard layout features three distinct colors – black, grey, and indigo. The two-spoke steering wheel, reminiscent of the Curvv concept, now comes with an illuminated logo.

The Nexon is available in a variety of trims, including Smart, Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, and Fearless. When it comes to features, the Nexon leaves no stone unturned. A fully digital instrument cluster, with customizable display screens, sits in front of the driver. The infotainment system has also received an upgrade, now boasting a generous 10.25-inch touchscreen. The aircon panel is touch-based, and the center console even includes a convenient wireless charging pad. Notable features also include ventilated seats and height-adjustable driver and co-driver seats.

Safety is a top priority for the Nexon. It comes equipped with six airbags as standard, and higher trim levels offer front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitor, and a blind-spot monitor.

New Nexon: Powertrain Options

Under the hood, the 2023 Nexon offers two engine options. The 1.2-liter petrol engine produces a robust 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. You can choose between a six-speed manual, an AMT gearbox, and a seven-speed DCT unit with shift-by-wire technology.

The diesel variant boasts a 1.5-liter engine, delivering 113bhp and 260Nm of torque. It’s available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The Nexon also features Eco, City, and Sport drive modes, allowing you to tailor your driving experience to your preferences.

Nexon Facelift: Taking on Rivals

When it hits the market in the coming weeks, the new Nexon will continue to compete fiercely with popular rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
