Glimpses of the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift’s Interior Unveiled

Anticipated to hit the market in the early months of 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of the revamped version of their XUV300. Numerous alterations, both inside and out, are in the pipeline for this compact SUV, without any significant enhancements in its performance sector. The camouflaged prototypes of this upcoming vehicle have been captured during testing on several occasions, offering us a sneak peek into the significant changes that lie ahead.

The interior, which has been a notable weak point for the XUV300, is set for a remarkable overhaul. The new images from the spy shots hint at a more expansive touchscreen infotainment system, a feature that might be shared with the forthcoming five-door Thar model. Positioned below this floating screen are tactile buttons for diverse functions, while the top-tier variants may boast an entirely digital instrument cluster.

The revamped dashboard and central console have been adorned with metallic and speckled embellishments, enhancing the overall luxurious aura. The multifunctional steering wheel appears to be borrowed from the XUV700, adding to the vehicle’s sophisticated feel. Furthermore, we anticipate an update to the list of features. On the external front, the design cues are anticipated to draw inspiration from Mahindra’s upcoming lineup of BE electric SUVs.

The front fascia is intricately designed, featuring vertically aligned headlamps reminiscent of the XUV700. Above these headlamps, prominent LED Daytime Running Lights are likely to grace the design. A substantial strip beneath the headlamps might accommodate the new Mahindra emblem, and the divided bumper introduces two horizontal air intakes, contributing to the vehicle’s commanding presence.

Moving to the rear, the facelifted XUV300 will sport a full-width LED light bar, complemented by fresh LED tail lamps with distinctive C-shaped patterns. In terms of performance, the vehicle will retain its trusted 1.2L three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, delivering a robust power output of approximately 131 horsepower. Additionally, the 1.5L four-cylinder diesel engine, churning out 117 horsepower, will be part of the powertrain options.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 is poised to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. Notably, the Kia Sonet is also set to undergo a facelift early next year, intensifying the competition in this segment. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the vehicle’s official debut in 2024.
