Shah Rukh Khan is back on the big screen with his much-awaited action-thriller film Pathaan. And as soon as he arrived, Pathaan spoiled the weather. The film, which marks the return of King Khan after four years, is all set to open big at the box office. Fans were eagerly waiting for the release of Pathan and the advance booking of the film has already created records.
According to the reports, Pathan has made a blockbuster opening at the box office and has become the biggest opening film of India, earning 54 crores from India only on the first day itself. Earlier this title was in the name of KGF 2. In terms of advance booking, the film has left behind Hindi films like KGF 2 and War. And soon the records of all the films can be broken at the box office.

According to Taran Adarsh, Pathan had collected 11.40 Cr from PVR, 8.75 Cr from INOX and 4.90 Cr from Cinepolis till 8:15 pm on the first day. Which in total is 25.05 Cr. Pathaan has left behind War (19.67 Cr) and KGF 2 (22.15 Cr) in multiplex chains collection.
