Ducati’s Diavel V4 Power Cruiser Roars into India with Jaw-Dropping Upgrades!

Ducati has recently introduced its latest power cruiser model in the Indian market, known as the Diavel V4. Although the Diavel name has been a fixture in the Italian manufacturer’s lineup for some time, this iteration receives the V4 treatment, akin to other models in their range. Let’s delve into the key features of the all-new Ducati Diavel V4.

Ducati Diavel V4 look and design

In terms of its visual design, the Diavel exudes a robust and imposing presence, characteristic of power cruisers. However, noteworthy changes include a fresh headlight configuration compared to its predecessor. The Diavel V4 boasts a headlamp assembly with three vertically aligned LED projectors, encircled by LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).

This arrangement is flanked by sizeable air intakes on both sides, serving to channel and disperse air effectively. Beneath the tank, the exit vents are strategically positioned. Just below these air intakes, you’ll find sharp shrouds that not only enhance the aesthetics but also function as partial covers for the radiators.

The model incorporates a distinctive floating rear seat, concealed by a removable cowl. Positioned just beneath are neatly integrated pillion footpegs. Similar to its predecessor, the Diavel V4 features a singular side-mounted rear tire hugger that seamlessly integrates rear turn indicators and the license plate holder.

Engine and Power

Under the hood, the Diavel V4 is powered by a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that offers an impressive 168bhp at 10,750rpm and 126Nm at 7,500rpm. This engine also serves as a structural element within the new aluminum monocoque frame. Interestingly, Ducati asserts that the new V4 powerplant requires a valve clearance check after 60,000km, a significant enhancement compared to the V2 engine. The power is managed by a six-speed gearbox.
