Built upon the innovative E-GMP platform, the EV5 will feature a front McPherson strut suspension combined with a single motor configuration. The electric motor’s prowess translates to an output of 215bhp and a peak torque of 310Nm. The SUV’s energy will be sourced from an 82kWh battery unit, a product of BYD, offering an estimated range of up to 600km on a full charge.
