What is Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana?

Under the Farmer’s Honor Fund scheme initiated by the Central Government for the well-being of farmers, eligible farmers receive ₹6000 annually. Similarly, under the newly introduced Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana by the Maharashtra government, farmers can also receive ₹6000 annually. This means that farmers can receive a total of ₹12000, ₹6000 from the Farmer’s Honor Fund scheme and another ₹6000 under the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, within a year.

Hence, the Maharashtra government introduced the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme will serve as a stepping stone to fulfill some of the financial requirements of farmers.

4. Under the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmer beneficiaries will receive ₹1000 directly into their bank accounts every month.
