Animal beats Jawan with 19 nominations at 69th Filmfare Awards

The nominations for the 69th Filmfare Awards 2024 were announced on January 15, 2024. Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’ has received the maximum 19 nominations in this year’s awards. This is the film that received the most nominations this year. After this, Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ is at second place with 16 nominations.

‘Animal’ is an action thriller film, in which Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of a businessman’s son. In which Anil Kapoor plays the role of his father, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna are also seen in important roles.

‘Animal’ has received nominations in 19 categories including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress in Supporting Role, Best Music Album, Best Lyrics.

Other films which have received multiple nominations include films like ‘Pathan’, ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Jawaan’, ’12th Fail’ and ‘Dunki’.

In this year’s awards, Shahrukh Khan has been nominated in the Best Actor category for ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Dinky’. This is a nomination at the Filmfare Awards after a long time for Shahrukh.

69th Filmfare Awards Host

The 69th Filmfare Awards will be hosted by Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Paul. Many stars including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aryan will perform in the show.
