The recent episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 8’ brought together Kajol and Rani Mukerji, the iconic stars from the 1998 hit film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,’ to discuss their experiences on the show. Hosted by Karan Johar, who directed the film, the trio reminisced about their time on the sets, reminiscing about the beloved movie alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
During a heart-to-heart conversation, Kajol shared her thoughts on the film’s central theme of love and marriage, particularly addressing the famous dialogue ‘Pyaar ek baar hota hai, shaadi bhi ek baar hoti hai (You fall in love only once, and you get married once).’ Contrary to this notion, Kajol firmly expressed, “Bilkul nahi- I definitely don’t believe it.”
Kajol later opened up about her relationship with Ajay Devgn, the accomplished actor she married in 1999 after a few years of dating. She highlighted the necessity of coordinating their schedules to spend quality time together, saying, ‘We have to match our dates.’
The couple, proud parents to Nysa and Yug, according to Ajay, believes that successful marriages aren’t solely fueled by love. He emphasized the importance of navigating the highs and lows, acknowledging that disagreements are natural. Ajay stressed the significance of discussions and managing differences, noting, “Two minds can’t be alike, but through communication, that’s how it works.”
