PM Kisan Scheme: Without this document, you will not get the 14th installment coming this month

PM Kisan Scheme: 14th Installment Coming This Month, But Money Won’t Be Received Without These Documents, Know What?

The 13 installments of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana initiated by the Prime Minister have already been disbursed to farmers. And now, the 14th installment is set to be provided to the farmers. However, before receiving the 14th installment, farmers need to complete certain documents and procedures. Yes, you heard it right – without these, farmers won’t receive the funds for the 14th installment. The government has issued this new update for the scheme. In this article, we are providing information about the essential tasks to be done for receiving the next installment under this scheme.

In essence, many farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana have faced delays in receiving their funds due to lack of correct information or necessary documents. The government has established rules for the scheme, so it is crucial for farmers to adhere to all those rules. If farmers fail to comply with these rules, they might face significant difficulties.

New Update Issued by the Government

The PM Kisan Yojana has undergone some rule updates by the government. According to the newly updated rules, all beneficiary farmers must keep soft copies of essential documents such as ration card, Aadhaar card, land records, bank passbook, and declaration form. As per the new rule, these essential document copies of farmers will be uploaded in PDF format to the relevant portal of the scheme. Additionally, farmers are also required to complete e-KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures. Farmers who do not fulfill these essential tasks might find it difficult to receive the next installment, i.e., the 14th installment.

Required Documents

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is essential for farmers to have an Aadhaar card and complete e-KYC procedures. Farmers without an Aadhaar card or without having completed e-KYC will not be eligible to receive funds under this scheme.

Reason for the New Rule

The government’s intention behind introducing this rule is to eliminate the need for farmers to carry hard copies of their documents everywhere and every time. During the registration process, the portal of the scheme will already have the farmer’s information and uploaded documents. This not only saves time but also ensures transparency in the process between farmers and relevant officials.

Previous Procedure

Earlier, for registering in the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers needed hard copies of necessary documents. This meant they had to get photocopies of their documents and carry them along. However, the government has now established a rule to upload soft copies of all the necessary documents in PDF form on the scheme’s portal, thus digitalizing everything.

How to Complete e-KYC

Completing e-KYC has become easier now, and it can be done online from the comfort of one’s home. To do this, farmers need to visit the official PM Kisan Yojana website. There, they will find the option for e-KYC on the right side. Clicking on it and entering their Aadhaar number will initiate the process. After entering an OTP received on their phones, the e-KYC process will be complete.

Shivirs Set Up in Villages from June 10

For farmers facing difficulties in completing e-KYC or with land record-related issues or any other problems, the government is setting up shivirs (camps) in villages. These camps will help farmers solve their issues, and after resolving their problems, they can start receiving the 14th installment.

Making Farmers’ Credit Card Issuance Easier

The government has also included the farmers’ credit card under this scheme now. This means that obtaining a credit card has become simpler. It is worth mentioning that having a farmers’ credit card offers the benefit of lower interest rates when taking loans from banks.

When Will the 14th Installment be Received?

The government has not provided a specific date, but according to reports, the funds for the 14th installment under the PM Kisan Yojana are scheduled to be credited to farmers’ bank accounts in June 2023. Therefore, farmers can expect to receive the 14th installment anytime soon, and their wait will be ending shortly.
