Jitendra EV Tech, a company based in Nashik specializing in electric two-wheelers, has introduced the Primo electric scooter at a competitive price of ₹79,999 (ex-showroom). This latest model from Jitendra EV stands out due to its showcased see-through glass bodywork, marking a unique innovation in the market. However, the company has disclosed that this distinctive bodywork won’t be immediately available for purchase. Instead, customers can choose from four conventional colors – Black, Silver, Red, and White for the Primo.
The Jitendra EV Primo is equipped with a 60V, 26Ah battery pack, ensuring a commendable range of 65 km on a single charge. With a top speed of 52 kmph and the capability to handle a 7-degree gradient, this e-scooter offers both efficiency and performance. Its features include telescopic forks and hydraulic forks with a spring coil. Presently, the Primo is offered in a single variant, but the company has plans to launch the Primo S with a 90 km range and the Primo Plus with a 130 km range in the upcoming year.
In terms of features, the Primo presents riders with economy, high speed, and boost riding modes. Moreover, it boasts a digital instrument console, LED lamps, USB charging, side-stand indicator, thermal propagation alert, and reverse assist. The scooter rides on 90/90 10-inch tubeless tires and employs a front disc brake paired with a rear drum brake setup for effective braking performance.
For buyers’ peace of mind, Jitendra EV offers a three-year warranty on the vehicle, while the battery comes with a standard two-year warranty, extendable by an additional year. The Primo e-scooter is set to compete with the newly-launched Kinetic Green Zulu in the segment.
